I've noticed this for a long time but have been lazy about posting this problem, thinking it might go away after awhile. However, it's still an issue.

When I go to Advanced mode on a post and UNCHECK the boxes that say to automatically parse links and automatically retrieve titles from external links, it has no effect. I still get parsed links and retrieved titles.

It is consistent. Just happened again HERE.
