I also would like such lists. I wouldn't like getting banned from this great forum for unknowingly uploading an anime or something that isn't allowed here. I try every time I upload a series that doesn't have a thread here yet to find out if it's allowed on the forums or not but I always struggle with finding it out.

Still I agree that this thread should be more visible in the Rules section, maybe a different thread & title could help, something like "Do not share list" and another thread with the scanlation groups that granted permission to the forum to share their projects.

@AlexiaLee I agree with you. But instead of a thread, it's still best to make it a separate section. For example, the section will be PROHIBITED WORKS. Then subdivide the section into smaller sections or threads for Prohibited Mangas, Prohibited Doujinshis, Prohibited Anime, and Prohibited Scanlation Groups. In the case of Prohibited Scanlation Groups, groups that don't want people sharing their work should provide a link to their homepage so that people can still access their scanlations.

Most of those 'not allowed' works and artist can be found in the section they are most relevant in. But i am guessing you guys want easier access to these infos? Where and what do you suggest would be a easy to understand way for finding the lists? Because they all are already stickers and linked in the rules section too.

@Rani I still have to stick with my suggestion that all forbidden works should have their own section, and not just placed in the Rules section. When loverlie deleted the threads for the Kureten doujinshis, I really couldn't find the list, and I'm not even a sharer. Those who did share the doujinshis similarly had a hard time locating said list of forbidden works. There should be easy access to this information. No sharer would want to break the rules unwittingly because he/she couldn't find the list. Also, by having a separate section for forbidden works, the forum will be practicing some sort of transparency, that you do and will prohibit certain works if it is requested by the artists or scanlation group.

Opening a new section of Forbidden works has its pros and cons actually, but I do know it will be quite similar to having a stickied thread in a section. Like the stickied rule thread, not everyone will go in the Forbidden Works section to check what is not allowed and still post a new thread in the download section. Whereby, if there's a Forbidden prefix marked thread existed in the download section, then the people know they cannot post a new thread there.

I am sorry about loverlie's deletion of thread, she has PM-ed me that she has recovered back the threads and locked them instead now.

As for the providing links to the artist or scanlation website, it can be shown on the same thread that is locked.

What I think we can do is take AlexiaLee's suggestion of making the list (the thread) more visible and make some small changes to it. This should be sufficient compared to just making a new section for Forbidden Works.
