Issue: Mention tag not working in forum support

I don't seem to be able to have the mention tags, or even typing in the mention with @ and ; , to work properly in the forum support. Not a big issue, but still...

As I am using the Standard Editor interface for the messages, I use the functions in the tool bar. The Mention tags worked fine on other forums, but not with posts in here.

I can't try with the Enhanced interface as it doesn't work well with IE11 (I am on Windows8 RT, so no other browser available)
