Introduction!

hello ^_^. how's everyone doing today?

fandom: pretty much anything. especially sm stuff though...haha is that strange?
interests: obviously anime/manga of the yaoi type, also normal anime/manga, drawing, learning new languages, writing, etc.
what got you into yaoi: um... gravitation and loveless
current favourite thing to read: psychological books i guess haha

any other thing you want to tell us about yourself: i'm from edmonton ^_^
any discussions you want to make for this group: hmm...maybe yaoi cons?

That is a nice group to have! so then here is my introduction ^^

fandom: Omg where do I start with ... at the moment I'm very addicted to Katekyo Hitman Reborn ! there is way to many bishies it that series the not get addicted in the first place. I'm also a big fan of kingdom hearts, vampire knight, ouran, gravitation, viewfinder and many many many more ! just ask XD

Interests: Anime/manga, drawing, art in general, I'm also a big fanfiction fan I'm writing some myself ! Everything that is Japan related interest me. I'm also a musician I play bass and saxophone. I'm in graphic school right now ^^

What got you into yaoi: Mostly Kingdom hearts and my friend that introduce me to it. Then I'd say definitely Gravitation which stays my personal fav.

Current favourite thing to read: Viewfinder and Katekyo Hitman reborn! I'm totaly into manga's right now

Any other thing you want to tell us about yourself: I'm from Quebec! Don't bash on me for that please !

Any discussions you want to make for this group: Diffinatly yaoi cons would be great !

fandom: It would probably take me many, many moons to pick just one. Though right at the top of my list are Death Note (MattyxMels FTW), Togainu no Chi and Yami No Matsuei.

current favourite thing to read: I have no idea XD I'm usually reading at least 5 different things at any given time...I'm re-reading Death Note atm, along with a couple of other things I can't think of off the top of my head hehe

any other thing you want to tell us about yourself: Grew up on the west coast, just outside of Vancouver, but I've been living in Winnipeg for roughly the last four years. My future goal is to become a translator for anime/manga/video games etc. Because we all know the translation quality of some of those these days XD

any discussions you want to make for this group: um...maybe an industry thread. We don't have a ton up here in Canada, but we do have some, such as Ocean Studios in Vancouver ^_^

Fandom: I'd have to say I'm still hooked on Naruto. Also, I'm crushing big-time on Durarara at the moment.

What got me into yaoi? I don't know precisely, its just something I became aware of over the years on the internet I guess. I think what I like about yaoi is the community that seems to surround it, its neat to think that there are other people who think like I do and I can interact with them.

Currently Reading: Girl With A Dragon Tattoo, I think it's the must read of the summer.

What else: I grew up and live north of Toronto.

Anything Else: Can't think of anything, however, I'd just like to say its great meeting my fellow Canadians here on Aarin.

Interest: Books, video games (especially Final Fantasy), Music, Movies, Life, New and Old Friends, Good Food.

any other thing you want to tell us about yourself: Although I was born and raised in the USA, my fathers family, including him, all live in Ontario. I have an AS in Education, with a concentration in History... I'm thinking about becoming a History professor/major instead of going with elementary though... although I would rather write stories.
any discussions you want to make for this group: I've liked what other people have suggested... I can't think of anything else.

What got me into yaoi: I like guys. So when I started getting into anime (a couple of years ago) I started to get interested in yaoi.
... And I guess I'm starting to wonder if many people are really active on this site? (I hadn't been for a year or so until I got back into Sekaiichi Hatsukoi...)
