Umm...totally not sure if something like this counts. It's a bit...gothic, maybe? Macabre? A little off the wall.

i was a bit inspired by corpse bride, but wanted to move away from the blue tone so near the end i did an 'inverto' and got it brown-ish lmao.

i'm not sure if that's what you wanted
but it was truly somewhat different i normally do in PS xD

hopefully I can try and make a better one now i got internet back >_<

Thanks, all you guys, for giving it your all in another round of the monthly ps101 contest! It was especially fun for me to see all your interpretations of this little bit quirky theme. ^^

As for the winner, I have to pass the baton back to yaoiangel. The mixture of alive and dead, the character looking to be kissing a love letter with those giddy emotions flowing colorfully from one eye, I think you really nailed the theme.

That being said I loved all your entries, from celtic7irish's innocence amongst decay, khoa's bizarre and phantastical piece to paplou's and cabbi's works which remind me of Halloween parties in progress. ^^ Well, done!

well, as i read the description from that dictionary all that stucked in my head was... strange/surreal, dark/gothic/grotesque and fairylike..
glad, i got that across =3
