"Write it out" Writers Group

*What* it must have sex! (not that much) must be really good if you invest so much time and effort into it...well NaNoWri is around the corner you're getting great practice...LOL

What I mean when I refer to stepfordritis is, basically, I feel like every story I'm reading has the same tone. Especially common when a story is written in the third person pov. I've especially noticed such a quality in a few of the "top" writers. As in, the writing is good, but it feels like your reading a book by Herman Melvil. You feel like you've read five chapters only to discover your still reading the prologue!! I feel like this tone has set itself as a result of people getting influenced by top authors. I so far only know 7 authors who've transcended past that tone.

@Cris: well I am using some of the ideas from last years NaNo to base the story on, and yes I am pretty ambicious about it.

I love to write and would love to actually be able to make a living of it.
