Downloading streams

I'm trying to download audio streams from a site that pops up with a flash player and plays the select playlist ie. smashits.com

What's a good way to download the audio stream? I've basically been using a program that records audio from my speakers but I think the original file would have better quality as my speakers aren't that good...

Suggestions?

Believe it or not, I have a really old version of IE on my comp :P Some pages like msn videos and some of my university Intranet pages don't work with Firefox - though everyone started complaining and they made it Firefox compatible...

Now all the computers have Firefox and IE installed on them

Just install Firefox IETab addon, you just need to push a button and IE works inside your Firefox! You don't need to open IE, just to have it installed. XD
