Do dmmd and dmmdrc work on windows 8? I had both of them on an old laptop that had windows 7, but that one ran into issues and i had to get a new one, which came with windows 8. I downloaded the files and everything but when i go into 7-zip to extract it says "cannot open file as archive" i'm really not sure what to do. I've looked up ways to solve it online and there was nothing. Honestly, Idk if that's a problem with the files, or with 7-zip. Any help is appreciated

Yes, it should work on Windows 8
When you say you're trying to extract the files, are you doing select all > left-click > 7-Zip > Extract Here?

So, I totally figured out the problem, and it's extracting just fine now. Sorry Dx!!
