DMMd Installation issues

A friend of mine is having compatibility issues with the game - she's using the same os as me: 64-bit Windows 7. It works just fine for me, but for her it says it's incompatible with 64-bit Windows and won't install it. Any ideas on why this happening? I know the game was built to work on Windows 7... It seems strange that it runs on my pc, but not her similar spec pc.

Is it the fact that it's the actual japanese installation or the english crack?
If it is the japanese installation, make sure that daemon tools (or whatever she used,) downloaded it correctly with all of the files intact, and go directly to the download screen after that. If this doesn't work, then either one of your discs are corrupt, or your download didn't go through. Try re-downloading, or a different file.
If it is the english crack, make sure you follow everything. Replace the japanese files with the english ones, and make sure that your computer is set to japanese.
