Director 11

I was wondering if someone knows this program 'cos I need a bit of help with Lingo coding :/

Director isnt even made anymore, but I used to make websites with it. Depending on what it is you need maybe I can shed a light, but my lingo is rusty. Maybe find a more Director orientated forum to ask?

that doesn't change the fact that my Profs in college asked us to use that program.

anyways here goes nothing:

I have this script when a button is active:

on mouseDown me
cursor -1
set the member of sprite the currentSpriteNum to member "thumb_marilyn_a"
go to "Ph1"
end

I have 30 other buttons though I need to look inactive and I don't want to write
"set the member of sprite 3 to member "thumb_flowers_faded" for 30 buttons and repeat the script for all of them.

So I was wondering how can I use the " repeat while the mouseDown" to give a variable to include the sprites

Can't make head or tails of it. The lingo is so outdated I haven't worked with it for years and no longer have the program either, that is why so many forums died as well.. Creative Cow comes back to live sometimes on their Director forum, maybe this site can be of help but I don't think it will do (I still had it buried in my favourites)
