My DS Lite

I have a DS Lite and i only just recently tired to get the wifi to on it for pokemon black, but it doesnt connect.
my wifi is a WPA2, does the DS Lite support that?

i tired looking online but i kept getting different answers. So im looking for one answer.


Also i pre-ordered a 3DS, that will support WPA2, won't it?

What key did you use when trying to do the settings on the DS? Did you just try your password or did you type in the key code that is on the modem?

I'm new to it too but I got it set up on my DS Lite using the key code that is on the modem itself (it wouldn't work just using the password on mine).

I don't know much else, so the only other thing I can suggest is to check out the troubleshooting guide on Nintendo's site ( here) and navigate around to see any other info or in the manual (if it's in there).

my daughter has ds like and she is pokemon DS game HARDCORE!
i expect new 3ds will support WPA2 because it costs $250.00 plus state tax: $15.00 plus warranty fee: $35.00.
if 3ds doesn't have WPA2 then why it costs so much?

Quoting the site: WPA security - Your wireless network is secured with WPA and requires a security key.
The Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite are not compatible with WPA security.

It does say u can change the WPA and such but he may affect other devices what connect to it, so i guess i'll wait on my 3DS.

i been excited for the games more than anything. I love R.Evil games and Zelda ones so yeah. Thanks for the link aswell!

Funny thing, my DS Lite can't use mall's wifi, but in my aun'ts home and at a convention place where I go frequently doesn't have problems. Even funnier is that the mall's wifi is compatible with my DS Lite, but it doesn't work anyway.
