Lamento Beyond the Void English Patch on Purchased Copy

I had some extra money so I purchased Lamento (and Sweet Pool and Togainu no Chi) from here. I wanted to play with the English patch, and the English patch works perfectly well with my downloaded (cough pirated) version. However, since I bought the nice Windows 10 version, I'd love to play it. I've read this FAQ (question 2 in particular) about installing the English patch and it says that the patch doesn't work with newer versions of the game. I want to clarify that the game runs perfectly, I just can't read Japanese OTL

There's no weird errors or glitches when I've put the patch files in the folder, the game just acts as if I never placed the patch files there. My question is if there's anyone who has bought Lamento and has some kind of workaround for the English patch to play with this version?

I'm running Windows 10.1 on a Surface Pro 3.

Actually, if you visit the Lamento English Patch post (here: http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f16/t1...h-release.html ) they have updated versions of the English Patch that work specifically for the Windows 10 re-release. ^^

Look for the one's specifically marked "win10" in the filename. And don't forget you only need ONE CG patch, and that you need to rename the files!
