Sweet Pool 1512 Disc Error

On a recent trip to Japan I picked up some BL games, and they all seemed to download fine except for Sweet Pool!! :< I'm bummed, I actually went through the hassle of buying it and it still is giving me an error. haha. It will recognize the disc and will "install" but when I go to run the game, I get this error:

I am running Windows 7 and have turned off my antivirus. I've gotten the downloaded version to play on my computer before so I know it can be run on 7, but the download version has completely stopped working for me in the past year or so. (It's almost like it's in fast forward mode and will not make any of the sounds/voices)

Sweet Pool is my favorite game and I finally thought I could enjoy it buy actually buying it but that doesn't seem to be the case haha. (additionally, my computer location is "in" Japan)

Any help or troubleshooting would be super appreciated! : >

---PS: I did reach out to NitroPlus Support since i have a serial code, but they weren't that much help.. they advised me that the game is not guaranteed to work on Win7 and then asked me for some more info on my actual computer, so I guess I'll give it to them and see what happens but I'm not hoping for any miracle fix from them....

I searched the thread for you.

1512 error means "Put the disk to play"

Put your physical disk inside the Disk Drive to play. Or mount the ISO if it is in that form.

In addition to what monokuroe mentioned, if you're experiencing this with the disk in the drive, then it might be an issue with the anti-piracy measure. Kinda like Togainu no Chi.

There is a NoDVD version of the Sweet Pool exe available.

Look for "[Nitro+CHiRAL] Sweet Pool noDVD Patch.rar". Give that a go! o.o

It's just so weird, I have the physical DVD of the game haha I thought it would be so easy! They actually got back to me and gave me a patch too and some instructions so I will try both out. Thank you guys! : D

aww thanks!! : p I'm back!! A few days ago. So much fun. So much BL. Glad I wasn't stopped on the way home haha
