Tsunderera: Game Error/Doesn't Start

The game starts off as normal. Clicking on start and load option will lead to this error. Closing the error window doesn't close the game.

Game Compatibility:
Runs in Windows XP to Windows 8.

OS Used:
Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1

Attempts to resolve problem:

• Run as administrator.
• Change region to Japanese.
• Tried multiple versions of the game.

Hello depastillas! ^^

I don't personally have this game (yet), but from the error messages I notice that the program EXE for the game is a bunch of "garble" characters. This means that you installed (Or downloaded and extracted, in this case) the game BEFORE changing the System Locale (Unicode) to Japanese. The name should be "ツンデレラ.exe"

I'm going to attempt to find the game and try it myself, but in the mean time have you tried deleting the game, making sure your computer's Unicode System Locale is set to Japanese, THEN re-extracting the game?

Also, when you extract the game, make sure you DO NOT put it in C:\Program Files (x86)\ .

If you can, install it someplace else. ^^ Like, in a folder you made for Visual Novels. Like, C:\Games\ or what not.

Off I go to test!



Edit: Welp! I tested it. I downloaded the 1.0.0 version here on Aarinfantasy, and downloaded the one from the developer the 1.1 version. I put the files in my C:\Games\ folder and it worked for me.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium.

Where did you put the game once you extracted it? ^^

Thank you very much Kojichan! What I did was I changed the System Locale then extracted it again.

The game is now working perfectly.
