English Patch troubles (TnC)

Hi there, sorry if this has already been addressed, but im having trouble with the patch. I did the update and did step two for the image thing, and have put the script in the place it needs to go, but when I go to start shikis or nanos route, it comes up in japanese still. Have I missed a step or something?

Quick question, where did you download the English patch from? Was it from here, on Aarinfantasy, or a different website?

Secondly, where did you install Togainu no Chi on your computer? The default location, or did you specify a different folder?

Hi there ^^ I downloaded it here. I also installed Togainu in, Program files(86x) in NirtoCHIRAL, etc, which I think is the default location. I first patch worked fine when I downloaded it there though, which is part of the reason why i was a little confused.

I have heard some people say that this language problem was fixed, when they re-installed the game in a different folder outside of the \Program Files (x86)\ folder (don't forget to copy over the save folder first, then move it afterwards). But, then again, if you're easily saving the game and being able to load it again (And all your CG's are visible in the extra's section), then that might not quite be the answer...

Well! Let's check the size of the Script file, first, to see if it's the right size.

Please take a screenshot of the folder where TnC was installed. It should look something like mine:

Where abouts in the English patching process are you having problems? Is the patch program not running? Can't find something?

Could you tell us in a bit more detail, and we can help! ^^

If possible, can you let us know what version of Windows you are running, and what folder TnC was installed into?

Lastly, could you specify where you downloaded TnC and the English Patch from?

I run the game but its all in japanese. Im running it on Windows 7.
I installed it on a new folder in my deskpot.

I installed it and it can run properly.
But when the opening play, the game closed by itself.
I already tried to reinstall it many times but it dont work.
Can anybody solve it?

What version of Windows do you have?

It might be that the codecs used to play the videos on your computer are outdated. (A codec is what lets your computer view videos). Togainu no Chi is an old game, so the codecs might just need to be updated.
