I have a Macbook so Daemon Lite doesn't work on it. I've ran other games such as Dramatical with no problem by simply opening exe file with wine. Any advice? It's driving me mad.

If I'm not mistaken, the Mac OS can support ISO Image mounting by default, otherwise there is always Toast.
You might be able to get away with mounting the TnC ISO in the Mac section, and having Wine read it.
DRAMAtical Murder didn't have a CD-checking functionality, and unfortunately there was never a "No-CD" crack made for TnC, so I hope some of these suggestions might help. Sorry!
Miraculously I got it installed but now it complains about CD DISC even though I did mount the cue file. Geez it's so complicated! Not sure if it's ever going to work.. Any clues what to do now? Anyone?

Darn, it sounds like mounting it just wasn't enough. The game does a CD check by checking specific sectors, or bytes, that are on a physical disk/CD. This isn't always emulated properly when a disk is mounted. You could try using IMGBurn to burn the ISO to a physical disk and try that.
I'm sorry about all this. Sometimes emulation isn't enough.
