DRAMAtical Murder crash?

[Buzzlight]

I was playing DMMD today[first time]
And when i got to the part when the women with Koujaku,teasing Aoba about having "woman hair"
This showed up:"www.otomedream.com- has stopped working" ("A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.")


I replayed the whole thing and it happend again!
Also,when trying to quicksave[by clicking "S"] it happens aswell...

I tried turning off my Anti-virus+Firewall but everything's the same,also turned off everything but the game[and a few necessery programs...]
Still,NADA ;-;

I installed everything by the video guide and my system local is set to Japenese[Japen]

Thanks for letting me know what you've tried so far. I have a few questions to ask, if I may.

Firstly, which version of Windows are you using?

Second, where did you install the game? What folder?

And lastly, would you be able to take a screenshot of the folder where the game was installed? If you can set the View mode to "Detailed", I'd like to be able to see the files, and their file-sizes!

Yeah,it looks weird
my windows isn't in English so i translated the folder...

NOTE:This is after i unistalled the game and,reinstalled it without the english patch
[Yes,problem still occurs]
And,i had previously installed DMMD using other downloads on this computer[although i unistalled the other ones]

No worries. ^_^ It doesn't look weird. Not everyone uses English Operating Systems.

And it's good to know you already tried uninstalling, then re-installing and running the game without the English Patch first. Also good to know you've tried other variants of the game.

Let's see... SdActi looks like it was installed properly.. File sizes are correct.

This is a bit of a long shot... You seem pretty computer saavy so let's try this:

Click on your Start button, then type (Or copy paste) into the search bar: %APPDATA%\NitroplusCHiRAL\DRAMAtical Murder\

There should be a folder in there named "1.00". Try deleting that temporarily.

Also, try installing the game into a different place, INSTEAD of C:\Program Files (x86)\NitroplusCHiRAL\DRAMAtical Murder\, Try C:\Games\NitroplusCHiRAL\DRAMAtical Murder\.

Have you also tried the "Run as Administrator" option? (I think it's called this: הפעלה כמנהל) I'm sure you have, so I'm just running all the options out.

I did a bit of research...
The game was crashing because it couldn't read my user name,haha

Holy crud, I forgot about that being a possibility because of your operating system's language! O.o

I'm glad you figured it out. If other people have this issue, they can read this and maybe try making a username with Latin or Japanese characters so they can play. Thanks again!
