[SOLVED] Problem Installing Lamento & Applying the English Patch

I already downloaded the game from a torrent, and applied the English patch once and it worked fine. However, after a long time I haven't played the game (just installed it) and recently tried to run it, it said I needed a disk somehow :o while previously it didn't. So I re-downloaded the game, this time from the different parts that you have to extract (there were no disks in the torrent). I got the disk and then it ran fine. Then I saw several patches that weren't in the torrent so I applied those. There are 3 patches o.O 112, 113 and 200. When I applied patch 200 and tried running the game again. it turned back to being Japanese >.< So I tried re-applying the patch but then it didn't work T.T So I wanted to try to re-install the game using the extracted files but then it asked me for a serial code :o

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix those problems?? Thank you very much!

Hmm, I haven't had a chance to install this myself, but it sounds like it might be a conflict with the Patches... Lamento is not 100% fully Translated yet. There is a team here working on it (http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f16/t1...ato-route.html).

I haven't personally seen a link to their English patch, but they are estimating a completion time of sometime early in 2014.

You may have to uninstall Lamento fully, with the English Patches, then try re-installing and use only the LATEST English patch. I believe there is one floating around.... Here: http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f153/t...ml#post4063377

Just make sure the ISO is mounted each time you want to play the game.

I found the solution for the serial code! It tells you what it is here:

After I re-installed the game and applied all the 3 patches first and then applied the English patch, it is now back to English!

Oh good! I'm glad you got it working!

I managed to download and install it last night, just the Ver 1.03 system patch and no CD EXE. I haven't had time to try it out other than getting to the title screen, nor the English patch that's flying around at the moment. But it looks good!
