Dramatical Murder Re:connect Video Issue

Hello everyone I seem to be having a slight problem with DMMD Reconnect. The entire game works fine except one of the little treasure chests. Dramatical Mother. When I try hit play on the video it loads for a moment, then the video screen turns white, and it does nothing at all. It is like that with each video.

If any one could shed some light on what the problem is that would be great.

Hello!

A few questions... ^^ First, have you played the original Dramatical Murder? If so, did you have any problems with it?
And #2, Were you able to see the Opening Intro video to DMMdrc? Those video files are MPEG4, if I recall... You may just need a Codec update.

Try this: CCCP - Combined Community Codec Pack
This is a nice pack of many different video and audio codec's that are used to watch Animes and listen to many different types of audio files. I hope that works for you!

I've been having the exact same problem! I've played the first game with no problems, and the intro to Dmmd:RC worked fine for me.

Downloading CCCP didn't get the file to play in the game, but I was able to watch the videos by finding the files titled mv_moder00.ngs in the game folder, and opening them with the video player I usually use, MPC-HC. However, when I do that they still all play in Japanese.

OK, so you can view the original "Mother" files, that's good.

So now it seems like it's an issue with the English version patches. Where'd you put them? They should be the in same folder as the original files. The English ones will have an "eng" somewhere in the filename. Make sure you move the files from the /Movies/ folder into the /dx/ directory, don't move the folder or else they won't work!

I just moved all the files from the patch folder in to the dx folder, and they work perfectly now! Thank you so much for your help! <(^_^)>
