Dmmd - Installation OK but Running issues...

So I was following this video guide on installing Dmmd as I found some guides were a bit short on detail (I prefer visual cues). Upon having done everything in the guide above, I ran the game. Got rewarded with a screen with a little brain with the words "Access" on it which then changed to the below screen

After this screen flashed up it became black. I could hear music running continuously in the background but no matter how long I wait for nothing comes up. If I press Esc i hear a bleeping noise but that's about all I'm managing to get out of it.

Is anyone able to suggest how to proceed?

I checked the 28 page thread for any kind of solution but found nothing that seems to fit. I also checked other threads in here however there were no suggested solutions for what I'm experiencing.
