Omerta not starting up

Man, I really need to only help people when I'm at home where my games are. ^_^;; I'm so sorry, forgive me!


OK, the ALSignup was part of the download package, you should have gotten the ISO, and a folder called "alsignup_100723b crack".

That folder contains the "alsignup_100723b.exe" file, and two other important files named ".data" and ".text".

Those files need to be moved into the same folder as the Omerta game, then follow the rest of the post above to finish installing.

Try doing a search on your computer for the file "alsignup", and if it doesn't pop up you may need to download it. I don't know if someone has just that set of files posted, as most places seem to have the ISO + Crack combo pack.

omerta.jpgthis is what i have in the folder. I mounted it and followed the instructions. I got the right msg from alsignup
But its still not working.

Did you move those files into the same folder where Omerta was installed? They need to be there before you run ALSignup.

Then did you find the TXT file that ALSignup made? You need to find that, and put that onto your C:\ Drive.

Yes. ALSignup, .TEXT and .DATA need to be in the same directory as the game after install.

I'm having the same problem. I have a Windows 8 laptop. I have tried EVERYTHING but when I click on the patch I got from Aarin it says in Japanese "Looks like the version is different. Still continue?" Then it creates a .sig file. I do this and that but then it still tells me to insert the game disc.

Has anyone solved the problem? I sooo want to play it, yet all the advice from this thread and other places didn't help...

Hmm, well, according to that file the update patch has been put applied properly. So it doesn't need to be run again (The patch looks for earlier versions and updates the game to V1.3)

Here is a video tutorial for installing, I watched it and it seems pretty straight forward. Windows 8 shouldn't be an issue, but give it a try either way:

Thank you but I've already seen the tutorial. I've just had an idea, is it possible that the path somehow left something behind even when I uninstalled the game? That way it coulf go wrong... probably.
