Togainu No Chi Saving?

I keep seeing something about "autosaving" but it appears that didn't work for my game. When I right click and bring up the menu, the controls are all in Japanese despite the rest of the game being in English. Can anyone tell me what these controls mean and how I save my progress?

You only have to press "S" and then you will have a screen with squares, you have to select one of them, then press ok and that's it... if you want to return in some part of the game you press "L" and choose the part you want...
