Kuro no Tsuki: English patch problems.

I've been looking up and down this forum for some answer to my problem, but I haven't been able to find anything that's current for this error I've been getting.

I got the game to install but I'm having problems with the English patch it's self.

I do have my language set to japanese, and I tried the whole going into properties and changing the compatibility to run on my windows 7.

I'm not sure what else that I could do. I searched google but there really isn't a whole lot for Kuro no Tsuki troubleshooters.

If anyone could give me some advice I would greatly appreciate it.

I feel so silly now. I keep trying and found a way to make it work.


I just ended up changing were the file was installed at.

Hello IsabellaAoki!

This patch is apparently really fickle. Your best options are to #1, make sure your computer is running with the System Locale set to Japanese, and #2, Install Kuro no Tsuki somewhere OTHER THAN C:\Program Files (x86)\. So you may need to Uninstall, then Re-install the game someplace like... C:\Games\Kuro no Tsuki\.

As this is an older game, sometimes things can go wrong, and it just takes a little trial and error. Good luck!
