Lucky Dog 1 HELP!!!

i can't read the Japanese text AT ALL!!
it only displays as funny, weird and
also unreadable Chinese characters...
someone please help me???

before then, i installed nessa no rakuen
and it worked perfectly fine!
yet not this game...
i have no idea what went wrong!

i changed my language for non-unicode
programs to japanese to test it out
i can finally read the text but i
encounter another problem...
i CAN'T play the game!

there are pop out windows stating
the system cannot find the graphics in the game
and missing plug-ins etc.
someone PLEASE, please, please help me!

im so proud of myself...

just in case you faced the same problem
here's the solution...
if you are a windows 7 user
(im using home premium version)

what you need to do is...
change the non-unicode language to japanese
then you install the game
when you play the game,
it will work perfectly fine with readable text and working graphics

however,
do remember that your non-unicode language
is always set to japanese before you play the game
or you will see funny, unreadable characters again
although the graphics are working fine...

hope i actually managed to help someone
who faced similar problems
its kinda funny when i end up solving my own problems...
while my problem is suppose to get fixed...
oh well...
