Unhappy Sweet Pool --- Can't start the game

I found a video on Youtube that was a step-by-step tutorial on how to install the game, and it worked! Yay. Excited by the success of the installation, that excitement became shock as the game couldn't start for some reason. It always fades out, then back to the main title.

I'm currently running Windows 7 on my computer, and since the installation worked, the game should too (?).

    Help?

I'm using win7 and it's working as far. (Though I haven't gotten far into the game yet)

There is the two common problems:

Did you set your location in Japan?
For Win7, you have to go Control Panel > Clock, Language, and Region > Region and Language > Administrative tab > Change system locale
Select Japanese (Japan) and it'll ask you to restart your computer.
It should be able to read the game in Japanese.

Did you follow the steps accordingly?
-Download the file. It should give you:
    + sweetpool serial (Text Document)
    + sweetpool (Application)
    + sweetpool (Disc Image File)
-Mount the disc image file onto whatever program you're using to do so (I'm using Daemon Tools)
-Open the file and install the game
-Go back the folder with the sweetpool (Application) file and copy it
-Go to Computer > C: > Program Files > NitroplusCHiRAL > sweet pool
-Paste the file in, replacing the one that is in the folder

Should be able to work then. Hope that helps?
