Silver Chaos Error

Hello, this error is just baffling me because I've played Silver Chaos (with the English patch) on my Vista already and had absolutely no problems with it. I tried another run through with the game to get a different ending and it gave me the error "MainSystem.exe has stopped working."
I tried re-installing it the exact same way I installed it before and then I got this error twice in a row. http://i26.tinypic.com/dpjq6p.jpg

Then when I try to play, I get the "MainSystem.exe has stopped working" again. I don't know why it is doing this since it worked just fine before.

When I got this error it was because of a missing codec. Installing this codec pack worked fine for me. Intel Create & Share® Camera Pack 1.0 PCI Codec Installer [CODINSTL.EXE]

or just change the compatibility of the exe to windows xp
