problems with rar

Hell there,

two days ago I downloaded all parts of Hanamachi Monogatari
the files were at the end like this: name.rar.001
so I renamed then and had it this way: name.part1.rar
but it didn't work
Winrar told be about an CRC Error and that the file isn't complete
so I deletet that part and downloaded it again with the same result. I tried to repair it with winrar and had no success. So I thought the file is really damaged
and deleted all parts
today I wanted to try another game (Birdie ~ Bokura no Renai Shinrigaku) and it's the same, so perhaps I'm doing something really wrong...
Please forgive me if this question is answered, but I couldn't find it with the forum search (maybe I used the wrong keywords?)

CRC error refers to a corrupted archive. Furthermore you don't have to rename the file/s.

mh but if i don't rename the files can I unpack them properly?
and yeah I know what normaly CRC error means, but I wondered if it could be only an accident that both games I tried were damaged...

Because the name is part of the crc sum. Try again without renaming.

mh it didn't work...
it says again that it's not complete (but they all have the same size)
I try to redownalod the files...

If the original file is like this "name.rar.001" it means you need the program HJSplit to join it. Renaming it to rar will not help cause rar does not join files spited by HJSplit. The program is free btw.

After you join it with HJSplit, you can then use Rar to extract the files.

i don't understand, well you know i'm zero with computer program so if anyone can help me what si worng, i'll be appreacited soo much..so please please help me...
