togainu no chi and agth

here's the problem: after i while of playing the agth n atlas crash. always after few sentences from the begining ( same point). i did everything i had to do to install tnc n agth properly n followed the user guides step by step n when finally i managed to get everything to play....
now i have vista n downloaded the latest version of agth so it should work properly right? the windows window i get when this happens says that there r some problems with agth program n the atlas program n it shuts them down (but not the game that goes on runnin) but doesnt give me the solutions or anything.
what should i do?

Togainu no Chi has a Vista patch on the publisher's site. Did you download and install it?

yeah. but the game works fine tho. even when the computer shouts down agth i can play the game normally. i went to the agth website for troubleshooting but they only consider the scenario "the game crashes while playing with agth." it happens every time after few line from the start, around when it says "3 division" (like 3 lines into the game). bah....

ok so i worked around the problem: using /pn or /p commands attachin agth to the game process. it works ok so far. the other way still gives problem. thanx anywayXD

How do u work it out=.=I also have the same problem but dun noe how to solve it=.=Keep crashing when the 3rd division word appear=.=

I know it's a little late to say this, but what kaname76 means is to change your shortcut target:

EXAMPLE:
E:\WTFolder\SPRAY\AGTH\agth.exe /c /pntogainunochi.exe E:\WTFolder\TnC\TogainuNoChi\togainunochi.exe

Note the /pn parameter aforementioned. This parameter will allow you to specify a process name and have AGTH hook onto it when it's launched.

Here's what happens:
1. AGTH and Togainu no Chi are launched via your shortcut
2. TnC crashes
3. Double-click the same shortcut
4. /pn parameter allows AGTH to hook back into the game and continue grabbing text for translation.
5. Continue playing
Repeat 2-5 when needed.

AGTH seems to want to crash after hooking onto any English text.
