How to Enter:

Submit through PM with the following info:

Signature: (Picture link)

*Note: You can use anonymous signature (doesn't contain your username in the signature) or you can put your name in the signature. Doesn't matter. If you win with an anonymous signature, then only your name will be revealed. Your name and submission will not be revealed during the voting process, unless you chose to use your name in your signature.

RULES

• Must be relevant to the pre-announced theme.

• Must be NO MORE THAN 250 x 500 pixels (height x width)

• Must not be Obscene (This is already a site Rule)

• Link to contest/voting thread in your signature - is allowed.

• No Spamming - via PM, VM or Threads to beg for Votes.

• Must be Your Creation. If it was given to you as a gift or commissioned, it's not eligible.

• We've set the limit at a maximum of 3 entries per user. You may submit up to three (3) entries, in each month's contest.

• SOTM is chosen through Voting. First 3 weeks (1st-21st) of the month for submission, then it will be closed for submission (22nd) and the last week (23rd-29th) will be for Voting. Link to voting thread will be updated here on the last week of the month. We will announce the winner at the last day of the month (30th or 31st).

Note from seres: I think "The Scent of a Lover" would be an interesting theme, something romantic for the first month of the year?

What kind of graphic programs do you contestants use to make some of the effects I've seen? I don't think I recreate that type of image with just a program like Paint.

Photoshop, paint shop, gimp and other programs like them....GIMP is free by the way

Paint is not good method to make the sets. i tried myself with paint for sets...it comes out not good.

Photoshop is the best software to make the sets but Photoshop is not free; it costs about $100 to $1,000.00 (depend on what kind of Photoshop levels; Photoshop 5 is $1,000.00 as i check recently)

If you have Tablet computer; they should provide the basic Photoshop disc (not all Tablet computer provide Photoshop and check Tablet computer that comes in with Photoshop disc)
