Reporting Issues/Problems Suggestion

Well, that message you see is a standard message text used in most forums where report functions are used.

In this case and for this forum, you can use the report button for all things that you think need attention by a mod, be it rulebreaking, double-threads etc etc.

As was pointed out, the mods that are online can see your reported post almost immediately and can then deal with the issue.

Thanks for letting me know Isan-sama ! Though now that I know that, what purpose does the note at the bottom of the window have then ? It's the only thing that discoraged me using it before since my report did not fit the specificites.

Well, I think this note is so specific in order to avoid report function abuse.
BTW it's also true that, like you said, people seeing this strict note feel discouraged to use it outward very serious evident problems (like I felt the first times).

I guess you could... I mean the report function isn't just strictly being used to alert the mods when certain rules have been broken; we use it to ask for contests to be closed when they have ended as well.

If you see someone who is breaking the signature rules (usually the newbies) you could just leave them a VM explaining why their sig needs to be changed. ^^; I do that now and again.
