An Aarinfantasy Instant Messenger?

I just discovered this tool called toksta and wondered if this wouldn't be a good idea for this forum, because personal conversations over profile messages and/or pm's are not very convenient, imho. I know a community where a similar tool is implemented. It works pretty well there and is widely-used.

From their website:

Of course you could always use the IM's mentioned above, but in my experience they are often discarded for a communication method that is centered more on the community.

The service runs on the toksta servers, so no extra traffic for aarinfantasy, and is financed by advertising. (there is a revenue share program, but I doubt that it will finance the hosting costs of this board).
Apparently you can opt out of the ads, but they don't say what it would cost then.

They say it's compatible and easily implemented to vBulletin.

So there it is, what do you think? Is it a good Idea? Would it be useful for the community or a needles gimmick?

I must say I like this idea, although I don't know toksta, but things like that would have to be approved of by the admins. There's always things that have to be taken into consideration with such add-ons to a public forum. I will bring it up to them, though.^^

I should add that I found toksta because it was one of the seven teams to win a Seedcamp investment, which speaks for the project.

Of course this would have to be decided by the admins, and maybe there isn't even all that much interest for this feature here, but I just thought it would be a good addition to the forum.

I also like this idea. Because for me, talking via PM or visitor messages isn't too comfortable. Besides, we would be able to talk in our native languages.

It seems a cool idea. In this manner you can avoid to fill your friends's PM inbox with personal conversations.
