Streaming?

OK, this may be silly, but what if we make a streaming place here. *points*
it may take veery long time but it'll be worth it.
i think it'll draw much people here.
it would really be great!

a streaming place where all the anime goes : )

Do you know how much money it would cost to stream anime from Aarin's server in addition to the other server costs she and Dai-kun already have?

I totally agree. They already don't make a lot of money from the forum and they can't afford a stream! Downloads are always the best sollution!

Well, we could upload into other host sites, but 90% it will be deleted within 1 hr of uploading, since they r really strict on these s8x related stuff.

And the catch also is that sometimes, these websites don't work in some countries...seriously!

I kinda like this web-site the way it is right now... downloading them is just fine to me -w-

and btw, when these kind of anime are being uploaded to sites such as veoh/youtube/whatever... it kinda feels wrong to watch cuz, arnt they gonna make profit outta these animes downloaded from here? (with there annoying advertisements -.-)

They need those advertisements to pay off for their bandwidth, server etc, which I don't mind since we're watching these clips for free

well, im very happy too with how things are done in Aarinfantasy. I mean, this is my favorite forum and the system here is great. I really couldnt ask for more since I can download yaoi for free. Besides, making yaoi anime available for streaming would mean more money to spend and of course, less control over the age of the viewers... since they are providing us with free yaoi, i think it is more appropriate if we make a little effort of waiting for the downloads to finish. We should really be thankful and contented with the benefits...

Streaming wouldn't be a problem for unlicensed anime if we have leftover bandwidth, which we don't. We're going at an average of 0.6 megabytes per second just from people browsing the forum. So we average about 1.56 terabytes of bandwidth each month.
