Semi-Solution to Card Problem?

Hi all!

I managed to get it the card rearranging thing to work for me and a friend (ginnypig prefers to be unnamed) so I am posting here as to what we did. We are using Firefox, in one tab we have the buy card (iShop) page, in the second the View Inventory Page to check.

If you have cards, its best to sell them all if you have a desired viewing for the six cards. Instructions in White


In a Tab or Window (for IE) Buy the card for the number 1 spot first, wait a few minutes and refresh the buy card page, then repeat this process for the others.

Check using a second tab (or with the window you used to buy the card in IE) through opening the View Inventory link or refreshing if its already open as you go (During you minutes waiting to buy the next one). If an error comes up as a result of the last card. Sell it and try the above step again.

Update: Some cards like a certain position (for example L like to be in position 1 or 3, but I want him to be in the number 6 position, so I first buy the existing 5 cards in the order I want, then buy three level 1s cards. Once you bought the level 1 cards buy L, most of the time he will become number 6. If he does sell the level 1 cards.

Update 2: Its seems that this works for people with less then 10 cards, so if you have more then its really hit and miss. I am really sorry for this!!!

PS. I slight oversight on my part sorry! It doesn't matter if you are using IE, providing you can refresh the page. The tabs are a nice bonus really and makes it easier to manage.

This worked for us and I hope it does for you too!!

Status: 8 worked - 4 didn't, but 2 worked something out to make it work.

Hi, following up on my previous post, I've got a more concrete idea of how rearrangement works, and this method has been proven to work for both mine and Demeter's deck.

With this method, you can arrange not only which 6 cards you want to show, but the exact order you want them to show.

Please note that I have a 43 card deck, and Demeter has a 45 card deck. The last time I used this method, I had a 27 card deck. Therefore, I don't know if this will work for smaller decks (...it should, though), and I do not guarantee that because it worked for both Demeter and I, that it will work for you too.

Main Method:

Okay say here is your deck:

Lv7 Aa
Lv2 Cc

Lv5 Mm

So the cards that are displayed are: Lv5 Oo, Lv2 Uu, Lv3 Bb, Lv1 Xx, Lv4 Yy, Lv8 Zz

Say you want instead, this order: Lv9 Pp, Lv8 Rr, Lv7 Nn, Lv8 Zz, Lv7 Aa, Lv1 Tt

Okay then find the cards you want to switch and sell and rebuy them like this:

Step 1) sell Lvl5 Oo, sell Lvl9 Pp, buy Lvl5 Oo, buy Lvl9 Pp
Step 2) sell Lvl2 Uu, sell Lvl8 Rr, buy Lvl2 Uu, buy Lvl8 Rr
Step 3) sell Lvl3 Bb, sell Lvl7 Nn, buy Lvl3 Bb, buy Lvl7 Nn
Step 4) sell Lvl1 Xx, sell Lvl1 Tt, buy Lvl1 Xx, buy Lvl1 Tt
Step 5) sell Lvl4 Yy, sell Lvl7 Aa, buy Lvl4 Yy, buy Lvl7 Aa

Now you probably have this order: Lv9 Pp, Lv8 Rr, Lv7 Nn, Lv1 Tt, Lv7 Aa, Lv8 Zz

You can rearrange within your top 6 too.

Step 6) sell Lv1 Tt, sell Lv8 Zz, buy Lv1 Tt, buy Lv8 Zz

and you should have the correct order. ^^ Of course, you just have to apply the same pattern to any 2 cards you want to switch. You can only switch 2 cards at a time- although there should be a way to switch more than 2 at a time, this method keeps it simple and consistent and leaves less room for error. ^^

What if 2 cards do not switch?:

Sometimes when you apply this method, you will find that the cards have gone back to the same spots as before! Well, this happens (and I don't know why) but some cards can switch with each other, but some cards cannot. For example, Lvl1 Wolfram and Lvl5 Edward would not switch for me.

What then? I tried switching Lvl1 Wolfram with other cards, and found that Lvl1 Wolfram would switch with Lvl9 Nakajima. Therefore, to replace the two cards that do not switch, you may have to do the following:

-Card A and Card B do not switch

Step a) sell card A, sell card C, buy card A, buy card C
Step b) sell card C, sell card B, buy card C, buy card B

Now card B will be displayed where card C used to be. ^^ I find that generally if two cards' levels are close, their chances of being able to switch are higher.

Important Tips:

-You must sell and rebuy!! Sending to a friend and having your friend send the card back will not work!

-If your card is out of stock, you run a risk. Here's a tip on how to rearrange a sold out card (it's still risky though. You can lose your card, so only do this if you are willing to take the risk)

Say you want to rearrange Lvl4 T and Lvl5 R. Card R is sold out!!

In your browser, open up 3 tabbed windows.
Tab window 1: Ishop
Tab window 2: Lvl 4 cards, scrolled down to where Lvl4 T is displayed
Tab window 3: Lvl 5 cards, scrolled down to where Lvl5 R is displayed

Step 1) In the Ishop tab, sell Lvl4 T
Step 2) Take a deep breath and make sure your internet is functioning well
Step 3) Sell Lvl5 R and wait for when the "Lvl5 R card sold" message shows and immediately click on tab2 and click on "buy" for Lvl4 T and when the "Lvl4 T bought" message shows immediately click on tab3 and click on "buy" for Lvl5 R.
Step 4) Let out your breath.

-You MUST wait until either a "card sold" or "card bought" message shows before moving on to the next step or the rearrangement may not work.

Buuuut if the page crashed or the browser did not load after 10-15 seconds, run to the window with the sold out card and buy it anyway. Then wait until you catch your breath to retry the sell/buy method.

If neither card is an out of stock card, then take your time to make sure each step has been completed before moving on to the next one.

Okay, that's it! Please let me know if this works for you as well, or if it does not. I'll add to this as well.

I found that the selling and re-buying worked for the most part but there were always one or two cards which refused to be moved!

I solved this problem by buying three Lv. 1 cards I did not want, this caused my cards to snap into the order I wanted. I then sold these unwanted cards and everything was fine!

I don't know about Keita4ever's method (I haven't tried it), but from my experience, Fuji's method should work after adding new cards. However, if you've already rearranged your cards you'll probably have to go through the process again after the new cards are added.

In my case, I was given a card for a contest just a few days ago and it completely messed up my order. But all I had to do was use Fuji's method again and I got the cards I wanted back in their proper places.

That process sounds too complicated for me to actually want the six cards to be displayed. I think I'll just wait until the new update comes out and do the changes then.

By the way, for any of my fellow richies (lol) who like to give cards as gifts, you can freely do so without worrying about messing up your current order. I just purchase the card in question, donate it to the forumer, then when I check my own cards, they are still in proper order
