Finding your own post in threads

This may be pointless, but I figured I'd give it a try~ I didn't see anything like this, sorry if I missed it!

I often tend to post in threads (like the bishie claim threads), and forget to save the link to my post. Then, alot of time passes and I realize that I did post in that thread, but it's extremely difficult to search through 1,000+ posts trying to find my own.
So I was thinking, is there any way to add a feature where you can easily find your own posts in a certain thread?

Hi, you can do that by going to Advanced Search. At "Show Results as:" choose Posts instead of Threads.
Then type your own name at Username, and if you know some more keywords you can type at keyword(s) too. The new search engine can search 3 letters now.

I didn't know that applied to individual threads! I thought it only worked for searching EVERY thread Sorry! And thank you~!

Aside from aarinfantasy's suggestion, you could also click on the number of replies as shown in a specific forum like:


This will take you to a window which will show who posted in that thread and the number of posts each one of them posted in there. To search for your posts, (or for the posts of any user you'd like to search) you can click on the number opposite the username.

(It takes me to a window of a specific size, what I did here is I maximized the window.)


It'll be like you searched the the thread as well. ^_^
