Why 999,999 points and not 1,000,000 points in Savings?

I've noticed something before and forgot to ask about it but now that I have over a million points again, I remembered about it. When I try to put my savings to 1,000,000 it doesn't let me. It will give me the exceeded error. It will only allow 999,999. Is this what it's suppose to do? Or is it suppose to be at 1 mill exactly? Am I the only one getting this or are others?

nope, it should be exactly 1 mil;p. let's say you had 599999 inside, you should only be allowed to put 400001 inside ;p

I just tried to put 1 point in there and I got this "Sorry, but that exceeds your maximum savings" *sigh* Like in the title, it is minor but annoying Thanks

It's because of the decimal point in the saving accounts that forbide you to put in the exact difference to the saving account.

You should transfer the difference between 1million and amount in your saving minus 1.

ok I don't get that really But even if I make the savings 0 and try to put 1mil in there, it doesn't let me still. Sorry if I'm not the brightest about this

Okay let me give you an example.

If your saving accounts right now has 225,000.25 points

Even if you transfer out 225,000 from saving, the forum will not allow you to put in 1,000,000 points into the saving accounts since there is an amount of 0.25 points in the saving account. Adding the 1,000,000 points to the saving will make your saving account 1,000,000.25 points which exceed the 1,000,000 points limit.

That would make sense if there was a decimal point in there somewhere. But how do I find out if that is the case? I don't see such a thing. Would the decimal show up in a different area than in my Banking and Transfer screen? Plus as I said, I even made the savings down to 0 and it still wouldn't let me.

Members will not be able to the decimal points in the saving accounts even though they are there. The fact that your saving account cannot accomodate 1,000,000 points shows this.

As I stated above, you made the saving accounts down to zero only in the unit numbers but not the decimal number, there are some decimal points inside the saving account which you did not transfer out.

I just find it odd that there are even decimal points at all. Or even the fact that we can't see them ourselves. But thanks anyway for answering.

It's not odd at all.

Let me give your an example on how the decimal points arise.

New member transfer 100 points in day 1

Day 1 100 points
Day 2 101 points
Day 3 102.01 points
Day 4 103.0301 points and so on so forth

That's how the decimal points arise but not shown to members.
