Running two contests at once

So I opened another contest yesterday which was against the rules...shame on me...
But anyway I closed that thread and put in the graveyard so I can go to it after my current contest closes. Is that ok? And is it ok to have the first contest still open after that I closed the other thread?

Per the contest rule no 1 here --> http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f32/t5...ease-read.html, it is not okay to place a contest closed temporarily (to be opened after another contest is completed) while having another active contest running.

Please refrain from doing so for your next contest.

What should I do? Should I ask to get the thread deleted? Sorry for the trouble!

Will it take long for you to close the active contest in the contest?

If you are able to close this contest today then I will not delete the second contest. If not then I have to delete it >_<.

The first contest has a set deadline of 1st August because it's a set contest and I thought it's better to give time to get entries. Please delete the second one for me, it's in the graveyard.
