Regarding Multiple Accounts Lately...

It has come to the staff attention that many people are making multiple accounts as of late for various reasons, one being to vote for polls.

You know very well that it is against the forum rules to take such actions and we will enforce the rules to its fullest extent.

We are currently reviewing recorded logs of multiple accounts and will ban people as evidence suggests... and will focus mostly on new registrations of multiple accounts that voted on polls.

If you do not want to be banned without prior notice, please send an e-mail to staff @ aarinfantasy.com within 3 days, explaining your actions. We will PARDON you if you admit to creating new accounts, this time only. If you are banned and are reading this message, this is the answer.

One thing I don't understand is why people would even make multiple accounts just to vote on polls. Usually, one would expect someone to make multiple accounts for points. O_o;

Wow! I never would have thought the polls would be taken so seriously. I mean, they're just supposed to be for fun. It seems silly to me to risk being banned over such a thing as that...

But in any case, it´s not your fault but the fault of the people doing such stupid things.

@Kath_Mandu Well, it´s pretty apparent for quite some time that people are taking this way too seriously and that includes all the parties, especially those that were/are taking part in the latest rounds now.

It could be about the polls but Dai-kun said that was just one of the reasons. At least from what I've read. Not too long ago someone was creating multiple accounts to get more rep. Also there are those that use the same computer. But I agree that someone shouldn't be risking their account here just for a contest or even for any other reason.

I think creating multiple accounts is useless. I don't understand why people even have to bother themself with something like this.
If you are a true yaoi lover you better surrender and Dai-kun will forgive you this time, only this time.

OMG... I can't believe how stupid such people are. ^^; But I hope many of them will send an email and confess it. And I hope a good deal more, that they mean it.

LOL! Well, I go to the thread sometimes to cheer my favorite on, so I guess I would be included among those 'taking part.' However, I think creating new files just to cheat the vote is going a bit above and beyond, ya know? Hence why this seems so silly and stupid to me.

It's unfortunate that something like this has happened over a contest... though I do hope the people that have made multiple accounts apologise to you accordingly... it'd be sad to lose members over something silly like this.
