@User Tagging - Mention & Quote

We've added 2 new tabs to the members profile page: Mentions and Quotes.

Mentions are used to help draw your attention to a certain post when someone 'mentions' you. This is done by using this format: @User; Replace the user with the complete username of the person you are mentioning and remember to add the ; (semicolon) after it to prevent accidental mentioning. Ex. @Dai-kun; You will be notified when someone mentions you in your notification and the mentions tab in your profile.

Quote notifications work the same way. When someone quotes you, you will be notified.

I'm not sure if this is a practical feature or not but I guess some might like using it I probably won't as I don't exactly see the point to it

But I was finding (today especially), that my profile wasn't loading fully. I dunno if it was because of the new additions but it was annoying when some of the red under my blue background was showing up and my Profile Intro banner wouldn't show. It wasn't just on my computer that it was slow as it happened on my phone too. It just suddenly started showing up properly a min ago but I didn't like when it was happening.

I'm glad the problem resolved itself. But I'm not sure what the cause of it was since I didn't see the profile problem while viewing my profile throughout the day today. It could either be client or server side. If anyone has experienced similar problems then please post here, but otherwise I haven't heard of anything similar.

When something like this happens, wait about 10 mins to see if it goes away as I may be trying to fix some codes. If it doesn't go away within that amount of time then please do PM or get my attention regarding this matter so I can investigate it. Once it disappears, I don't know what the prime cause for it is.

Thanks Dai. When I noticed it I figured it was just a temp thing anyway and thought it would go away. I dunno how long it was doing that though since most of the day I was out and only checking it on my phone once in a while.

Yep, now you'll see in your profile that I quote your post.
And the mention thing is to "mention" a member, something like:

"Sure, @vizard light ; is searching for movies in the request forum"

You will see now both quote and mention on your profile ^^
