Visual editor won't show

Visual editor won't show and can't edit posts

I tried making a post and the visual editor didn't appear so I clicked Go Advanced, and still nothing. I tried it on other threads and it won't appear. I can't make quick reply posts or even edit posts. I'm using Firefox, I had to use Internet Explorer to edit a post I made. Is it Firefox that isn't working? It's updated and all. It just happened today, I'm not actively only but I don't remember this happening before.

Which editor are you using? I had it happen when I use to use the enhanced editor. It worked at first but then wouldn't show eventually. I just use the basic now since, last I heard, the enhanced is bugged in some ways and there wasn't a known fix yet.

It is possible that an plugin in Firefox is interfering with the editor.
You can check your plugins there http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
You can run Firefox in safe mode to see if it works (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode). If it works, then a plugin is preventing you to use the editor. You can then update or disable your plugins (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems#w_disable-all-extensions and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-issues-with-plugins-fix-problems)

Also, as Twinstar mentioned, try another editor configuration to see if it is stable and working with your browser
