Multi-page works, but still a few bugs.

So, tinkering around and trying to add updates to one of my stories, I noticed that:

•When I did multiple pages, it would not let me click in the third page to be added. The box would not get the blue highlight around it, and there was no blink cursor and I could not type. I could type in the second page and fourth page.

•When doing the multiple pages, if I tried to backspace something I would get the "are you sure you want to leave this page? All content will be lost." pop-up. That also happened if I tried to center any text. I had to go and edit each page individually in order to center/backspace without that pop-up.

•After doing multiple pages and uploading, I had four pages posted. The first original post was fine, but pages 2 and 3 had no text. Page four did. I went back and edited them one by one and the text showed up.

•When trying to edit the names of the chapters, all if them will edit except the last one which I have tried to change but it still says page five.

OK, I will try to duplicate everything later, have to find out how exactly you did it to get the bugs.

Anyways, when you get a missing page, like in your instance you have page 3 then page 5, and no page 4, try to delete all the pages after the missing page and redo them so the pages come out correctly again and you should be able to title it like I did to your story Twisted.

For the backspace and center aligning, I cannot duplicate that. What steps did you take to reach the point before you received the error message?

I had multiple pages up, (2, 3, 4) and I was copy/pasting the text in. It wouldn't let me edit that text at all without the error message. That's all I did was copy and paste the stuff in.

**edit: and I went back to the chapter page and was able to change the title; thanks.

Yesterday I tested and it was fine with:
* adding pages
* editing previous pages
* in published threads and drafts
* adding pages then editing afterwards
=> all was displayed correctly

Now, I can confirm whenever I add a new page I cannot edit the previous and there are some disturbing display on the multipage editing area when editing after saving

(1) I added page 6 to existing draft (yesterday I tested with adding page 4 and 5, all displayed text ok, and editing page 1, 2 and 3 was ok)
When adding the pages all was fine with previous pages, then hitting save and going back to edit, the following errors appeared:

(2) There is an "Error" bar appearing at the top but no error message (see picture)

(3) Pages 2, 3 and 4, there is not even the edit box appearing (see picture)

(4) Page 5, I cannot set the cursor in the edit box to correct and text disappeared

(5) Pages 1 and 6 are ok


EDIT:
Confirm it is only the multipage edit function (Edit All) with is problematic, the page edit is OK. This means editing pages one by one doesn't remove the previous page text, but editing all at once will have text disappear.

Yes, this is actually one of the problems with the ckeditor. It will not work properly when multiple editors are on the same page. I forgot to post about editing multiple pages at once will not work.

Edit all pages button removed.

Is it just a temporary removal of the edit all pages button? Because that's the only way to change the title "page 1" to anything else

Hello,
Yesterday when when I copied and pasted my story into the next chapter it worked! However, half my story was non italic and the other half was italic (which isn't right). So I tried to highlight it and un-italic it but the *italic* button wouldn't work leaving me stuck with the half of a page in italic. Is there a way to fix this?

I manually added in the chapter 2 for you by copying and pasting and everything seems to work fine; I did not need to do any extra editing.

It wasn't that fiction but I tried it today and I am able to edit it. I don't know what was wrong but it is working now ^_^ Thank you!
