wrong time and dates

I noticed that the sidebar is showing the wrong times and days for any of the posts/threads.

Example

Look at the time and day of the Playlist thread. It shows 2:49pm on July 15. And even after I refresh the page, it now shows a different time.

And this is the thread --> link (http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/projects/issue-237.html). The thread was posted this morning (for me). It also didn't show that there was a reply to the thread till later on (not sure how long later but it took a while to even show up in the sidebar status.

It doesn't just do that for the issue tab either. It does it in the Latest News one too. Not sure about the others.

*edit* and even as I wrote this, the time changed again. I refreshed it just now and it's showing a time of 8:49am --> screenshot (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b151/Twinstar1/Untitled-4-7.png). And take notice that even though I posted this, this thread hasn't shown up in there either. My post finally showed up after about 9mins and displays the wrong time as well. It's 6:29am here and it says it was posted at 6:28pm. And the other Playlist one is now saying July 15 at 3:49pm.

Ok, I do see that. Seems like it only happens in the Issues and Suggestions block. I will look into this.

As for the other blocks not being updated, it's because it's cached content that is being displayed. Like latest news has a 10 min cache time where it will not refresh with new posts.. because posts are not made there frequently, no point in updating with new info so often. Latest Threads has a 1 min cache time. Issues & Suggestions has a 10 min cache time.

ok thanks for looking into this. It's not like I use it that much anyway. Now can it only be set to show the time the thread was made, or can it show the time of the last post? Cause I think knowing the time of the last post would be better so we know when a reply or update was made.

It's set up to show the time the last post is made and another bug was found will fixing the time, the last user that posted wasn't showing after the 'by', which is now fixed.

The time is almost correct now, I think for DST users, it's behind an hour still. Still trying to get that fixed.

What about in the latest news board though? It shows the time the thread was made, not when the last reply was.

OK the times on the Iusses & Suggestions block have been fixed, can you check if it is for you? It should show the last post time.

As for the latest news block, that is intended to work as it should, to show the date the thread was made. We want to let people know how recent or old it was posted, not when it was last replied to (since if it goes by replies, new threads that have no/old replies will be pushed down). As for the time, it shows up correctly for me. You got a screenie you can show me?

ok the time has changed three times since I started this reply. It now shows an hour behind for me. It's 9:14 here right now.

Hmm.. I'll have to look into this. I'm not sure if this happens globally, but I will have to do some testing.

Ya cause whatever you did didn't do much. It's now saying you posted your last post at 9:27pm today when it was 9:27pm last night lol.
