| I tried this in the doujinshi download section, so it works:
Go through the section yourself. Through every single thread. Keep a list of the threads that are fine, the ones that need changed (what needs changed in each one), and the ones that are duplicates (and could be merged), etc. Start at the first post in that section and work your way to the newest posts. Then send the complete "raked" list to the moderator of that section. It could be a while before they have a chance to use your list, but it'll be a good guide for them to use - so they don't have to go through every single old thread in addition to monitoring new daily posts.
Even if you don't make it all the way through all the threads, anything you can do will help. And it'll give you a good idea of exactly how much work it entails - there's no way a single mod could handle the clean up on top of daily moderation. If you can get a few people to help you make your list, that's even better. |
