Aoyagi Ritsuka

Ritsuka wishes to find out so badly the controversy around Seimei's death, but at times is unsure if he can handle Soubi. He is odd in the sense that he believes if he doesn't take pictures, he will forget himself, forget the time he has spent with others. He calls this creating memories.

Agatsuma Soubi

He joins up with Ritsuka for the sake of the young male being his new sacrifice. It is hard to tell whether he grows a real attachment to Ritsuka or whether he is doing what he does simply because he was told to by Seimei. A hypocrite, Soubi is always saying one thing and turning right around and doing the next, though it is unclear why he acts in such a manner.

Aoyagi Seimei

Ritsuka's belated brother who was murdered, and the former sacrifice of Soubi. He is the reason Ritsuka and Soubi came together to fight.

Hawatari Yuiko

While she may be a bit ditzy, Yuiko is a very kind-hearted girl. Because of it she is often taken advantage of by others and used by people that she believed were her friends. She showed Ritsuka kindness even when he was unkind to her. Persistent, eventually she befriends him in some manner.

Shioiri Yayoi

A fool for love, Yayoi is always trying to find some way to get the attention of the one he most admires, Yuiko. And while the young girl seems completely oblivious to his feelings for her, that never stops him from chasing after her. He is a kind boy but dislikes Ritsuka, who seems only to be getting in his way.

Shinonome Hitomi

Ritsuka's teacher. She has a kind heart and wishes to believe the best of others, but because of that she sometimes gets herself into some bad situations. She is frowned upon at times for being a twenty-three year old that has not yet lost her ears.

Kaido Kio

A close friend of Soubi's from college. He is one that does not seem to approve of his relationship with Ritsuka.

Breathless

The two that make up this team are Ai and Midori. Ai is a fighter, and Midori is her sacrifice in battle. Though they both seem to dislike Soubi, it is mainly Ai who finds him disgusting for choosing a new sacrifice after Seimei's death.
