Tight Rope OVA1 has been subbed in English. Summary from ANN: Tightrope tells the tale of the reluctant heir of a yakuza family and his childhood friend, and follows their love relationship that started budding in their school days and keeps developing slowly but surely.

The AarinFantasy team members are quite fond of such BL anime, so I guess everyone's pretty pumped up for it! This particular OVA has been subbed by a new translator who is a friend I known from subbing community back in 2005, so I hoped you guys like it and please be kind to point out if there's any mistakes. The usual translator (Jane) was busy and she can only give a check on it... but she told me she will most probably get to translate OVA2 herself (so yay!).

Kono Danshi Uchuujin to Tatakaemasu, also known as "This Boy Can Fight Aliens".

To me, this doesn't look like yaoi but the DVD description hinted it as yaoi and the DVD comes with English subs as well. This is really not your typical anime... it comes with a mix of anime and comic animation, with tons of vibrant colors and certain screenshots of high quality artwork. Check out the screenshots below!~ The storyline is pretty straightforward with some comedy and emotional stuff all in this 28 minute video.

Please be warned that this video is not for you if you are searching for yaoi action.

DVD description:
A yaoi-tasted sci-fi anime. The "Sekai (World)" has been under attacks by aliens. One day, Arikawa, one of the staff of the provisional headquarters for the invading aliens, finds a high school boy Kakashi, who is lying on a hill with his memory lost. Kakashi is found to have a power to beat the aliens and starts living together with Arikawa and his boss Shiro. Kakashi gradually gets used to the strange life but the relationship among the three breaks up when Kakashi loses his motivation to fight with the aliens.

It has been such a long time that the team has worked on fansubbing Koutetsu Sangokushi. I remember back then, I thoroughly enjoyed the anime because it's loosely based on the stories of The Romance of Three Kingdoms which I really like. It was also interesting to know that all the characters featured in the anime are actually male, despite some of them look like female! Anyhow, I was asked a lot of times on fansubbing Ep26 which was released later on DVD after the series has ended officially at Ep25. So after a lot of searching and giving ups throughout those years, I manage to find someone who has been so kind to translate it for us FINALLY! Also involved are a few forum members who has helped me so much in this. My fullest gratitude to them!~

Ep26 takes place several years after the event in Ep25 has ended. It mainly features a grown-up Ryoutou protecting Sonken in place of Rikuson, and how Ryoutou stumbled upon a cheeky young boy much like himself in the past. I know this is not really BL, but... we all know how highly slashy this anime has been from Episode 1 till the end, right? Well, at least one title can be marked "Completed" for English subs.
